Luke Day

Australian Dual Junior World Champion Luke Day teamed up with USA Pro racer David Hardenburger and KMG Race Team owner David Fekete last weekend to take out First Position in the iconic 300m Mark Hahn Endurance Race in Arizona become World Endurance Ski Champions for 2012

The team set a world record fastest ever time for the race  and  smashed the lap record with one lap timed at 10 min 49 sec. ridden by Hardenburger.

The team ran consistent 11.00 min lap times and beat the nearest ski by 2 laps. Their pace was so high that the team also beat many of the runabout sit down skis home.

The riders acknowledged that the win was only possible with the incredible KMG Racing pit crew who were physically man handling the ski from the water to the fuel and back into the water.
