The crew at Strictly Business Productions originally shot this video for
me as a way to say "thanks" to my sponsors who supported me through the
last few years. We re-cut it to be used as my "Welcome to Jetpilot"
video since it's the middle of winter and I ain't riding in Illinois!
Thanks so much to Jetpilot for the confidence in making me part of your
team. I'm looking forward to the ride. Thanks also to my other
sponsors: Supra Boats, Liquid Force, The Boat House Chicago, All Action
Sports, Monster Energy, and Overtons.

One huge weekend 3 world titles
G.O.A.T. is not a gifted term or a simple
nickname, it is earned. How is that achieved? Apply your entire life
towards a focused goal, train harder than the competition, strive for
excellence, commit yourself, be willing to take hard hits and get back
on the track and earn the checkered flag.
World Champions are few, racers many. Winning is the goal, many witnessed this at the 2013 IJSBA World Finals, where titles are won and lost by professionals from across the globe. Chris MacClugage claimed three World Titles in 3 days, Chris earned solid wins in every event he signed up for.
Chris MacClugage has claimed more Podium top finishes than anyone in the sports history. For this to be repeated the next PWC sports icon needs to be about 9 years old. It will take a lifetime to match his earned world titles. A tough act to follow.
Chris was able to lock down 3 world titles in one weekend:
1. PRO SPORT CLASS #1
2. PRO SKI GP #1
3. PRO SKI OPEN #1
Chris’s Facebook page was flooded with props from around the world all weekend during the World Finals held in Lake Havasu City, AZ home of Macc Racing. Macc Racing FB Page
CLIP OF CHRIS WORKING THE PACK AND TAKING THE LEAD, NOT LOOKING BACK AND EARNING HIM HIS 3RD WORLD TITLE FOR THE WEEKEND.
Race fans were in awe on the beach and watching online through streaming video as Chris shredded the race track, pushing his Macc Racing built boats to 3 consecutive Gold Finishes!
2013 IS OWNED:
Chris’s focus shifted from the runabout division to Sport and Stand Up Skis for the 2013 season. This move took him back to his roots. These were the race boats that he launched his career on in the 1980’s. Macc Racing has produced fast race boats for fast tracks, and customers know it. Everyone wants to be around the winner, business is brisk. Chris has once again set the bar high taking the words World Champion to another level.
James Masterton take 2nd at PWC GP in China
Thursday, 31 October 2013
Congratulations to Jetpilot's James Masterton on taking Second at the PWC GrandP Prix in China on the weekend.
The weekend of October 26-27 marked a new beginning for professional watercraft racing. As the immediate future of Australian national racing is still pending after last years fatal accident, 2013 has been a limited race schedule for current national Australian titleholder James Masterton.
Eight months after winning the prestigious ‘King of the River’ crown on the Swan River in Western Australia, the Chinese government along with event organizers invited James to represent Australia at the very first Asian Aquabike Grand Prix, a UIM sanctioned event.
The event featured a timed qualifying session on Friday and two 20-minute races across Saturday and Sunday with combined points for the overall and 120,000RMB ($21,000AUD) prize money.
A sixth place qualify time saw James start on the second row of a rolling start grid on Saturday. After multiple battles with front riders, James moved into second by half way point. With race leader almost half a lap ahead, James charged for the remaining 12 minutes narrowing the gap to just eight-tenths of a second, finishing in second.
A second place result in moto one meant James began moto two from grid position two behind the local Chinese favourite. When the flag dropped, James stayed within striking distance of the leader and on lap six he made a pass to take over race lead to the roar of 30 thousand Chinese and Asian spectators. The lead however was short lived as Chinese lapped riders made attempts to block Masterton allowing the Chinese rider and original race leader to take back the lead and eventually win the race at the 22-minute chequered flag. “I am disappointed with the lapped rider scenario on Sunday however I had a blast and rode well. A big thank you goes out to Hong Kong BRP/Sea-Doo distributor, Smooth Marine for providing the skis and transportation. This race would not have been possible for me with out their support.”
A welcomed approach has seen James invited back again next year for a shot at an enormous $500,000USD prize purse, money that is unheard of in Personal Watercraft racing and to compete in further Asian championship rounds.
